Q. What is the minimum order of heating oil?

A. The legal minimum order of fuel is 500 litres. To achieve value for money we recommend  you order a larger volume - why not spread the costs with a monthly payment scheme?

Q. Is there anything I should do before placing an order?

A. We always recommend that you know the capacity of your home heating oil tank before you place an order. We also recommend that your boiler and tank have recently been serviced by a qualified engineer to ensure peace of mind. 

Q. Do I need to be home when my heating oil is delivered?

A. No. If you provide safe access to your oil tank there is no requirement for you to be at home when the delivery arrives. In addition, all documentation is accurately prepared before delivery and will be posted or e-mailed direct to your home on completion of the delivery.

Q. How long is the delivery hose?

A. The delivery hose is approximately 150ft long. However, we can reduce the need for a long hose by understanding your specific delivery requirements and concerns that may restrict access across your property to your home heating oil tank.  

Q. How quick can you deliver my fuel?

A. Normal delivery is between 24 hours and three days.  Most of our deliveries occur within 24 hours of receiving the order. If you have run out or are very low, we will always do our best to make your delivery a priority.

Q. What areas do you deliver to?

A. We cover the Teesside, County Durham, West and South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire area.

Q. How can I make my fuel more efficient?

A. betterBURN and betterBURNv are a fantastic supplement to standard kerosene that has been developed exclusively to deliver efficiencies, savings and environmental benefits for our customers who are looking for that little bit extra when heating their home or using a vaporising burner like an AGA or Rayburn Oven.

A. There are various ways for you to pay for your oil.  The Lynx Fuels Team can take payment over the phone by Debit or Credit Card, or why not spread the costs with a monthly payment plan?
